Summary

Children’s Pride was held at Malmö Museer (Malmö Museums) and turned out a successful event which over the festival often had fully booked activities. Since the activities were held outdoors, approximately 600 people could participate simultaneously. All the parts of the programme was focused on children and family through the whole period of the festival. Malmö Pride worked closely with their collaborators from Malmö Opera and Lindängens Activity-house who had a tent which children could go to for arts & crafts. The police was also present to answer questions and let the children have a look at both the police car and gear and Malmös culture school also held activities parallell with mentioned.
The stageprogram had daily performances curated by Johan Kullberg alongside Malmö Pride.

In Pride House activities regarding children, youth and families were held through workshops, seminars and lectures.

The libraries and youth centers around Malmö were also activated during WorldPride 2021, hosting activities. The Hyllie bathhouse arranged activities and Funny’s Adventures offered children and families a special “Pride-discount”.
